Petaluma teen Minna Stess is heading to the 2024 Olympics in Paris this August. Stess was named to the U.S. Olympic skateboarding team. The 18-year-old Stess won gold at the 2021 USA National Championships’ Women’s Park competition. Stess has been skateboarding since she was a very young girl. Before her Olympic events kick off August 6th, Stess is set to head to the X Games June 28th through 30th in Ventura, California. Furthering her records, she placed in the World Skateboarding Championship last October, becoming the first American ever to medal in the women’s event.
