Deputies Taser Trespassing Suspect in Petaluma

Sonoma County Deputies tasered a trespasser who approached them aggressively. On Sunday morning, deputies were sent to a property on Live Oak Drive in Petaluma where a suspect had broken into a barn and then chased nearby cattle. As they arrived, the suspect, 36-year-old Dallas Brodov, jumped a fence into a nearby stockyard and was walking away, shirtless and refusing deputy commands. He then jumped on a pickup truck and smashed the windshield, then quickly approached deputies pounding his fist into his other hand. A deputy used his taser to subdue Brodov and they arrested him without further incident. He was charged with vandalism, burglary, and resisting arrest.
