A Santa Rosa man riding his bike to work Saturday morning was hit by an SUV, then dragged along the pavement before the driver left the scene. The victim of the reported hit-and-run suffered three fractures in his left leg. The 35-year-old was transported to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where he underwent surgery to stabilize the leg. The SUV continued around the bicyclist, and was last seen possibly driving eastbound on River Road. The California Highway Patrol is still searching for the driver and anyone with information is urged to contact CHP.
