Santa Rosa police have arrested a driver wearing a “Jason” mask who had an unregistered assault rifle. On Saturday night, an officer pulled over a Gold Toyota Camry sedan near the intersection of Marlow Road and Bay Village Circle for driving without any headlights or taillights on. Officers immediately saw the driver, 27-year-old Adonay Efriem, with the mask on and acting nervous. Another officer then saw an assault rifle partially hidden by a blanket in the back seat. Officers determined it was an unregistered assault weapon which was not legal to possess. Efriem was arrested and charged with possession of an assault weapon.
