A Santa Rosa Chef has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle last week. On the evening of July 1st, 38-year-old Patrick Rodriguez was riding south on Highway 1 east of Bodega Bay when he crashed into a guardrail just north of Bay Hill Road. He was thrown from the bike and onto the road and pronounced dead when medics arrived. CHP believed Rodriguez was unable to make a left turn on the road before the crash. Press Democrat reports that Rodriguez was a chef taking care of his parents in Santa Rosa and most recently worked for Ausiello’s Homeslice in Rincon Valley. He graduated from Maria Carrillo High School in 2004.
