About 700 free backpacks filled with school supplies will be given away at the Sonoma Back to School Health Fair at Altimira Middle School. The fair is intended for Sonoma Valley Students and will offer vaccines, backpacks and school supplies. Community resources will also be offered with Medi-Cal enrollment, emergency preparedness and financial literacy, as well as food, legal, recreational, educational and mental health resources. Backpacks will be given away on a first come, first serve basis after families go to at least five informational booths of their choice. The Sonoma Back to School Health Fair at Altimira Middle School is on August 3rd from 10 AM to 12:30 PM.
