Authorities identified a Penngrove motorcyclist who was killed late last week in a head-on crash near the Marin County coast as 57-year-old Steven Michael Campanali. The crash just after 6 p.m. Friday on Highway 1 when the motorcycle went into the opposite lane and crashed into the front of a pickup truck. Campanali was knocked off his bike and landed in the highway, a little over a mile south of Tomales. He was pronounced dead at the site. Campanali was identified Tuesday morning by the Sheriff’s Office Coroner Division.
