James Alexander (Sonoma County Homeless Services Division)
James Alexander will be the next leader of the Sonoma County Homeless Services Division. Alexander, a Sonoma County Department of Health Services staffer, was chosen after a national search and will officially start the job on Tuesday. Alexander is currently the Homeless Services Division’s health program manager, a role in which he connects homeless people with county services. He is replacing Dave Kiff, who resigned in April to take a city manager job in Southern California. Alexander is starting as director of the division at a time when the number of homeless people in Sonoma County is rising again.
