The Flora Fire burning on Chalk Hill Road has scorched 50 acres of land and is 50-percent contained. Crews have stopped the forward progress of the vegetation fire, which started at about 4:45 Wednesday afternoon. There are no reports of injuries or of damaged, destroyed or threatened structures. Investigators have not determined the cause of the fire.
