The man accused of starting the massive Park Fire in California claims it was an accident. Ronnie Dean Stout II is charged with felony arson. The 42-year-old says his car rolled down a hill and caught fire. However, a witness reported seeing him push the car down a 60-foot embankment. Stout appeared in court on Monday and is set to appear again on Thursday. Meanwhile, the Park Fire is 14-percent contained after scorching more than 383-thousand acres since last Wednesday. It’s now California’s fifth-largest wildfire ever. Nearly 200 structures have been destroyed, and another 42 hundred are threatened.
