Ten more California counties are getting a boost to help people with behavioral health conditions living on the street. They were awarded nearly 133-million dollars in the latest round of funding. This includes Sonoma County’s Behavioral Health Division getting $7-million. This is part of a state program to provide urgent housing for those transitioning out of homelessness. Governor Newsom says this will give them a safe place to start the next steps to recovery. He’s urging all counties to use similar tools available.
