Sonoma City Council Continues to Get Pressured Over Resolution for Israel-Hamas War

Protesters continue to call on the Sonoma City Council to pass a cease-fire resolution calling for an end to hostilities in the Israel-Hamas war. About 30 pro-Palestine supporters gathered at a City Council meeting on Wednesday, spoke during public comment, and then march down to Sonoma Plaza. Sonoma Valley for Ceasefire Coalition organized the protest and has gathered over 600 signatures supporting the resolution. Several speakers spoke at the plaza including Ian the Poet, a member speaking on behalf of Judy Talaugon, Cecilia Sofranko of the Sonoma County Commission on Human Rights and South Bay protest organizer Kiyoshi Taylor.
