Firefighters are gaining the upper hand on the massive Park Fire burning in Northern California. The blaze has scorched over 429-thousand acres of land and is now 39-percent contained. Cal Fire says flames continue to threaten the Mill Creek area and the town of Mineral in Tehama County, just near the edge of Lassen Volcanic National Park. The Park Fire remains the fourth largest fire in California history.
