After facing a budget deficit, Sebastopol is cutting two-point-six-three-million-dollars in spending. The cuts, finalized last week, will impact public works, repairs to municipal buildings and the city’s support of local nonprofits. But, even with that, the budget passed by the Sebastopol City Council last week is still 669-thousand-dollars over the spending limit. The city is hoping to add some revenue, if voters approve a half-cent on the dollar sales tax increase in November.
