A Santa Rosa man has died following a hit-and-run collision nearly two weeks ago. Thirty-three-year-old Mahlon Weaver succumbed to his injuries Tuesday. Police have arrested 19-year-old Alejandra Vasquez on felony hit-and-run charges. Her father, Rafael Vasquez, has also been arrested for allegedly helping his daughter hide the car involved in the crash. The incident occurred on Hearn Avenue near the SMART tracks on August 1st. Police are continuing their investigation.
