Two Suspects in Santa Rosa Stabbing Case Will Face Trial

A judge is upholding the charges filed against two men connected with a deadly stabbing outside of a bar in Santa Rosa. The ruling means the men may face a jury as soon as January of next year. On Wednesday, Sonoma County Judge Robert LaForge announced prosecutors had provided enough evidence to warrant the charges. They presented that evidence during a preliminary hearing this past January. The deadly stabbing happened during a fight outside of Gary’s at Belvedere on February 1st, 2023. Both men are charged with murder, attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
