Congressman Adam Schiff is continuing to hold a comfortable lead in the race for the U.S. Senate seat once held by the late Dianne Feinstein. Fifty-three percent of likely voters polled by the Berkeley Institute of Government Studies prefer Schiff, while thirty-three percent chose Republican contender Steve Garvey. In April, a California Public Policy poll had Schiff leading the former Dodgers star sixty-one to twenty-seven percent.
