Several local political leaders showed up for the “No on Measure J” campaign. Congressman Mike Thompson, Assemblyman Jim Wood, Supervisors Lynda Hopkins and David Rabbitt among others spoke to a crowd at an auditorium in Rohnert Park against Measure J, which seeks to ban “concentrated animal feeding operations,” or CAFOs, in Sonoma County. A small counter protest occurred about 50 yards from the auditorium holding “Yes on J” signs while standing silent.
