Kyle Heard (Rancho Adobe Fire District)
Sonoma County is mourning the loss of one of its firefighters. Rancho Adobe Fire District Captain Kyle Heard died unexpectedly on Friday night. Authorities say the 43-year-old suffered a medical emergency at his home in Santa Rosa. Heard had been with the Rancho Adobe Fire District since 2003 and was promoted to full-time engineer in 2013. He was promoted to full-time captain just last year. A cause of death has not been announced.
