A Ukiah man has been identified as the person who died in a crash off Highway 101, south of Willits. Thirty-seven-year-old Jason Isom died this last Saturday afternoon after his car went 100 feet down an embankment near Ridgewood Ranch Road. His car landed on top of temporary concrete barriers stored off the road by CalTrans. Isom, the only occupant, was declared dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is still being investigated but speed and perhaps a little precipitation in the area may have been a factor.
