Patelco Credit Union has confirmed that a ransomware attack in June resulted in a data breach that may have exposed members’ sensitive personal information. Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, dates of birth, and email addresses may have been compromised. The credit union has offered affected members a free credit monitoring service and recommends taking additional steps to protect their information.
