The Santa Rosa City Council has approved a $1.3 million agreement with COTS to operate a two-year regional homelessness prevention program. The program, called Keep People Housed – Sonoma, aims to prevent 350-400 local households from becoming homeless by providing financial assistance, housing stabilization services, and legal referrals. The program will receive a total of $3.9 million in funding from various sources, including the City of Santa Rosa, County of Sonoma, City of Petaluma, and All Home–a Bay Area non-profit.
