Heat Advisory and Spare the Air Alert In Effect as Temps Hit High 90’s

Stay inside if possible today. That’s what officials are urging as a heat advisory will be in place starting at 11 a.m. through tomorrow night. The National Weather Service has issued it for the North Bay interior mountains, East Bay Hills and interior valleys, and the Eastern Santa Clara Hills. Temperatures are expected to range from the mid-90s to 107-degrees due to a heat dome over the area until Friday. There’s also a Spare the Air alert continuing today because of smog, meaning it could be harder for some people to breathe.
