Sonoma County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Amie Carter has released a statement following the deadly school shooting in Georgia Wednesday. She says that this incident, quote, “underscores yet again Congress’s failure to act to address gun violence.” She went on to say, quote, “Here in Sonoma County, our schools regularly review the measures they have in place to keep students and staff safe.” Two students and two teachers died in the mass shooting at the Georgia high school.
