The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria have acquired 466 acres of coastal land in Marin County. The Press Democrat reports this is one of the largest “land back” conveyance deals ever in the North Bay. The land, known as Dillon Beach Ranch, is an important ecological area that includes a mile and a half of coastline and a tidal waterway. The tribe plans to conserve and manage the land for future generations.
