A Santa Rosa man accused of causing a fatal car accident that killed a woman has entered a not guilty plea. Nhan Van Nguyen appeared in court Wednesday and faces charges including murder, vehicular manslaughter, and DUI. The crash happened August 16th when Nguyen’s truck collided with a car driven by Jessica Avila Muñoz. Muñoz, a single mother, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Nguyen is being held without bail and is scheduled to return to court in October.
