Save the Redwoods League is looking to raise $16-million to purchase and preserve a 1,600-acre property north of Jenner. The property featuring several second-growth trees is currently owned by the Soper timber company who has since gotten out of the timber business. $15-million would go towards purchasing the land while $1-million would go towards stewardship. Save the Redwoods League is hoping to raise the funds before the end of the year.
