Firefighters have contained a grass fire that was caused by a car crash off Highway 101 just north of Healdsburg. A Mini Cooper went off the road and crashed into trees at about 4:30 Thursday afternoon. The car caught fire, with the flames spreading to nearby grass. The driver was airlifted to a hospital with major burns. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. The cause has not been determined.
