Investment in California Law Enforcement Agencies Results in More Arrests

California’s historic investment to catch thieves is paying off. Law enforcement agencies in 55 cities and counties got a share of 267-million dollars last October. And now it’s being revealed that lead to more than 69-hundred arrests for retail and property crime in just six months. Governor Newsom says the state is “funding the police and reaping results.” A CHP task force is also on track to surpass last year’s numbers, making 884 arrests since January and recovering seven-million dollars worth of stolen items.
