Volunteers are needed up and down the state for this year’s California Coastal Cleanup. On September 21st, volunteers will take time to clean areas of the California Coast, trying to keep our beaches free of plastics and other debris. Locally, volunteers can sign up to work under team captains assigned to six Sonoma Coast beach sites – North Goat Rock, South Goat Rock, North Salmon Creek, South Salmon Creek, Bodega Dunes and Doran. Participants are asked to bring gloves and buckets if possible. Those items will be provided for people who don’t bring their own.
