A historic hotel at Yosemite National Park is closing indefinitely. Officials announced Wednesday that the Wawona Hotel will be closed starting December 2nd to let the National Park Service conduct an assessment of the hotel’s complex. The hotel is one of California’s original mountain resort hotels and was originally established in 1856. Many famous travelers have visited it throughout the years, including President Theodore Roosevelt. It’s unclear when the hotel will reopen.
