The state’s biggest utility is lowering power bills next month. The average customer will see a 55-dollar “climate credit,” thanks to California’s cap-and-trade program. It’s something PG&E does twice a year, with the next one in April. This only brings temporary relief though, given regulators recently approved a fourth rate hike. The money will go toward recovery from 15 storms that damaged utility poles and hundreds of miles of wires.
