Dozens of animals and livestock seized amid an animal hoarding investigation remain in the care of Sonoma County. The animals were seized from a property in Sonoma last year. They include 27 dogs, 63 sheep, 46 chickens, 18 ducks, four turkeys, two horses and two llamas. Another four dogs and a cat were returned to their owners in April. In November, a hearing will be held to determine if the remaining dozens of animals and livestock will be put up for adoption or returned to their owners. To date, the county has spent nearly 350-thousand-dollars on caring for the animals.
