A transient has been arrested in connection with two fires along the Santa Rosa Creek Trail. Antonio Martines is accused of starting a fire on Saturday and may be connected to another small fire set on Friday. Witnesses reported seeing him acting aggressively and holding a lighter near the fire. Martines was taken into custody after a short chase. He is facing charges of arson, resisting arrest, and violating his probation.
