Group Of Elementary School Children In Computer Class

Three Maria Carrillo High School students are looking to expand their non-profit dedicated to teaching coding to kids. The Press Democrat reports that the highs schoolers founded 404 Found Code and started an eight class session curriculum partnering with the Sonoma County Libraries helping teach young coders in Rincon Valley. Now they are seeking to expand the program connecting with other coding clubs across Sonoma County. However, further funding is needed to make this and possible robotics classes happen. They have received some funding from Keysight Technologies, Microsoft Azure, and Digital Ocean, as well as server credits from Linode, a company that creates a online “cloud” to store information.
