A Santa Rosa Junior College student is okay after an unknown suspect pointed a firearm at her at the Petaluma Campus. It happened Wednesday night near the campus welcome center, 680 Mountain Parkway, when the unknown suspect pointed a pistol at the student from about 130 feet away. The suspect reportedly ran when he saw that the student was on her phone. SRJC police searched the campus and the park but could not find the person. The suspect’s race or gender are unknown but they are described to be between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall with a thin build.
