The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office has reached full staffing levels, thanks to successful recruitment and retention efforts. This milestone marks the end of a three-year period of mandatory overtime for deputies and correctional officers. Sheriff Engram announced that as of Thursday there are only 12 vacancies out of 231 deputy sheriff positions. The Sheriff’s Office is now able to focus on improving employee well-being and continuing to attract new talent.
