Firearm recovered from Jose Orozco-Abaraca 10-5-24 (Santa Rosa Police)
Santa Rosa police have arrested a man who fired several shots early Saturday morning. They were reported in the area of Olive Street and Earle Street where the caller reported saw someone enter a truck and leave the area. Officers managed to find the truck and pulled it over, contacting the driver, Jose Orozco-Abaraca. He admitted to having a handgun in the vehicle and being in the area of the reported shooting. After finding some shell casings, Abaraca was arrested for the shooting, possessing a handgun in a vehicle, and driving with a suspended license. The firearm was later discovered to be stolen. No injuries were reported.
