A Lake County man was arrested after deputies found illegal weapons and evidence of a dog fight. On Tuesday night, Lake County Sheriff Deputies responded to a call from a resident in Kelseyville saying they heard a gunshot, someone yelling for help and a possible dog fight. Upon arriving, deputies found blood outside the home’s sliding door and a dog bleeding from its head. They also found a handgun, a rifle with several illegal modifications, multiple magazines, different-sized cartridges and “dragon’s breath” cartridges, which are rounds that shoot out a burst of flaming metal particles. They also found multiple explosives, including eight “half stick” firecrackers and a large quantity of Tannerite. 26-year-old Jesse Adams of Clearlake was arrested and charged with possession of illegal firearms, illegal firearm storage, possession of illegal explosives, and cruelty to animals.
