A small brush fire along the Sonoma County coast has been halted. Forward progress of the Muniz Fire north of Jenner has been stopped and the fire has been stopped at 3.5 acres. Air tankers made several fire retardant drops to get it under control followed by containment and clean up efforts by ground crews. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
