Sonoma County Jobless Rates Down to 4-Percent

Jobless rates are down across the North Bay. According to the state Employment Development Department, Sonoma County’s unemployment rate has gone down to 4-percent for the month of September, down from a revised 4.5% in August. Jobs were notably added in government, and professional and business services. Bit lacking though for construction; manufacturing; trade, transportation and utilities; private education and health services; and leisure and hospitality.

Marin County’s unemployment is down to 3.8-percent, Napa County to 3.9-percent, Mendocino to 4.7-percent, and Lake County to 5.5-percent.
