A search warrant on a 21-year-old Santa Rosa man had sheriff’s deputies finding a gun, drugs, and cash. On Tuesday, deputies conducted a traffic stop and searched the residence of 21-year-old Julian Jesus Cortez-Trevino. In his vehicle, deputies found a large amount of money and an approximate kilogram of cocaine. At Trevino’s residence, they found a firearm, digital scales, more cocaine, and more money. Cortez-Trevino was arrested and booked for several felonies, including being a felon in possession of a firearm, a felon in possession of ammunition, and for the transportation, distribution, and sale of cocaine.
