It could be a very smoky day in Sonoma County. CAL FIRE had initially announced that two prescribed burns are planned to take place in state parks around the county today. The plan is to burn about 70 acres of dry brush and vegetation inside Trione-Annadel State Park. Meanwhile, prescribed burning activities at Salt Point State Park have been postponed and may resume Tuesday. CAL FIRE officials say even with the light rain that fell in the area over the weekend, fire danger due to very dry conditions remains high in the area.
