Penngrove Elementary Will Still Act as a Voting Center

Penngrove Elementary School will continue to be used as a voting center but with a catch for students. Parents of the school brought up safety issues using the school as a voting center which only increased after an evacuation and lockdown earlier this month. To quell fears, Penngrove Elementary will remain closed to students through election day when it opens as a voting center this Saturday. Instead, they will make the whole week of November 18th full school days instead of half days that were planned for parent-teacher conferences. Those conferences will now be held all day next Monday and Tuesday.

Be sure to visit the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters website to get the full list of voting centers, their hours of operation, and ballot drop box locations.
