A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a truck in Penngrove. The crash happened on Wednesday morning, near Old Redwood Highway and East Railroad Avenue. The motorcyclist died at the scene. Police say the person was riding at a high rate of speed and crossed over the double yellow lines to illegally pass several vehicles. The rider then hit a truck that was exiting a private driveway. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle upon impact. The driver of the truck was not injured.
