Red Flag Warning in Effect Through Thursday Morning

PG&E now warns that power shutoffs are “likely” for up to 15-thousand customers in the North Bay this week. That would affect just 1,900 customers in Sonoma County. The North Bay is now under a red flag warning which started at eleven o’clock this morning and will go through seven o’clock Thursday morning. The region could see wind gusts of up to 50-miles-per-hour during that time, with daytime humidity levels between 15 and 25 percent. Winds are expected to peak tonight into tomorrow morning. The interior mountains will likely see the strongest winds. Forecasters say strong gusts could also reach areas like Rohnert Park and Napa.
