Results are in for California’s Senate race. Congressman Adam Schiff will fill the seat long held by the late Senator Dianne Feinstein. He gave a victory speech last night, saying he’s “committed to taking on the big fights” to protect freedom and democracy. He also promised to build more affordable housing so people aren’t forced to choose between rent and putting food on the table. Schiff begins serving the six-year term in January.
