Santa Rosa is on the verge of breaking a 122-year-old rainfall record, according to the National Weather Service. The current three-day rainfall record of 9.96 inches, set in 2021, is likely to be surpassed with the ongoing storm.

On Thursday alone, Santa Rosa recorded 5.45 inches of rain, the third-highest single-day total on record. This follows Wednesday’s 4.15 inches, the tenth-highest.
