Road rage gun incident with infant in car leads to arrest

 

Santa Rosa police responded to a road rage incident involving a firearm on Saturday at 4:52 p.m. near W. Third Street and Amador Drive. Officers quickly located the suspect, 23-year-old Kalvin Crump from Petaluma, near Stony Point Road and Guerneville Road, with his 1-month-old baby and the child’s mother in the car. Police dog “K9 Ghost” found a loaded .40 mm handgun, extra ammo, a holster, and a spare magazine in a backpack inside the car. Crump was arrested for assault with a firearm, brandishing a gun at another car, and carrying a concealed and loaded firearm in public. He was booked into Sonoma County Jail, while the mother and child were released at the scene. More info Monday morning on KSRO.
