Today, a public meeting will be held to discuss a plan to build homes on the former Sonoma County hospital campus on Chanate Road.
The meeting, originally scheduled for December 16th, starts at six p.m., at the Finley Community Center. The city is putting together an environmental impact report for the proposed project, known as The Woodlands, which would be built on the 71-acre property. The plan calls for the building of hundreds of new homes.
The community will have a chance to offer input on the scope of the study, which breaks down the impact of building the homes.
